Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Rolling through Mt Dora Sunday at 6:00 and most restaurants seemed to have already shut down for the day. I love sports bars, there's always plenty of TV's, cold beer and for the most part good food. As I walked in the ".70 Wings" sign had me.... order of 20 medium....say no more. My dining partner for the day went with the Black & Blu Burger. Megan served our food and made sure our glasses remained full the hole visit. Being partial to wings I'd have to say these were some of the best I've had. They were slightly crispy, plumb as can be with the right ration of sauce to wings. When I say right ration that means there was plenty of sauce left over to dunk my dining partners uneaten fried in. There was nothing left of the Black & Blu Burger, so I'm taking that as a good sign. All in all I'll stop in next time I'm in town.

WOW, I don't know where to start. I've experienced bad service, but this was the worst!!!! "Jessica needs to go, her unfriendly attitude itself makes her a liability to the business, not to mention her inability to serve customers. The food was as good as any average sports bar, no complaints there, but when you order an appetizer it should come out before your meal not with it. FYI to anyone who might care, I personally watched 10 customers leave because of no service.

I would have given them 5 stars for the black bean burger alone but I think it's important to note it took us 35-45 min to get our food, the table was sticky as well as another persons table that complained about it. It's a Wednesday at lunch time so I'm not sure why it took so long to get our food. So as long as you're not in a hurry it's ok. Great relaxed space and we had great service. My Long Island iced tea was not made right but they fixed it. They forgot the splash of coke and not sure what else. The water should be filtered it tasted pretty bad. Again thanks for carrying blAck bean burgers in Lake County!

Seriously. ..best pickle chips ever!!! Wings were great, burgers big, juicy perfect. This place is a hidden gem. I would have posted picture but they were too good to stop eating.

Love the battered & fried mushrooms served with their homemade ranch dressing for dipping.

We weren't sure if the entire wait staff went home after we sat down. After 20min as we stood up, Miss Personality showed up with her poor attitude and underwhelming desire to be there. As though she wanted us to suffer for her life decisions. Once she brought the appetizers she didn't bother bringing plates or flat ware. We had to get up and bring it upon ourselves to get everything from another winner. The food is comparable to the food at the cafeteria in a hospital...if not worse. No offense to the hospital. Poor waitstaff and poor food. On a positive note it was two for one beers. Albeit she made me play 20 questions because they were out of the first five beers I requested. I asked her to just tell me what they did have and she said she didn't know. The only thing she seemed to know was what beer they didn't have. Thank God they were two for one because they came in 6 ounce glasses. You definitely want to use your money in another game and stay off their sideline!

Good beer prices. Nice shareable appetizer the nachos served on a pizza pan and are very tasty. But our favorite are the burgers. My husbands favorite is the blackened with blue cheese and I love the toma hawk chop which has jalapeños

I am a rabid Duke Blue Devils fan. I was visiting Mount Dora from out of state, and I came here to watch the first Duke vs Syracuse game of the 2013-2014 season. If you remember anything about that game, you know it was INTENSE. I stayed quiet the first half, but in the 2nd half, I couldn't hold it in anymore. I was whooping, shouting, banging on the bar.... And the barkeeps were totally cool. The bar was mostly empty by that time anyway. Thanks for the yummy margarita, and thanks for letting be my rabid-fan self.

I live in Mount Dora, and eat out often. For pizza and pub food, this place is perfect. Food is great, service excellent and price is right. For what it is, it deserves 5 stars.

I've been frequenting this spot for the last 2 years and have always had a good experience. They recently snazzed the place up by adding a bar, that serves full liquor which is awesome since most Mt. Dora spots are only beer and wine. The prices are awesome, the pizza is great, and the sliders are best. There are tons of TV's for all of your sports needs but hours are the downfall... When you want to watch a game that starts at 8:30pm and they close at 9pm on a weekday, you're screwed.

Sidelines has excellent wings, great pizza and typical sports bar fare. What makes it a weekly stop for my husband and I is the owner, Jerry, who will bend over backwards for his customers. We go there and only there to watch football when our games aren't televised locally b/c they will actually listen to what we want to assist us accordingly. Reasonable prices & accomodating staff = loyal customers. The other sports bars in the area are consistently less than helpful so if you're in the area and looking for football and food, this is the place. Their fish fry on Fridays is also awesome!

Sidelines is your typical sports bar that you find in most towns. I was there on a Thursday night when they were having Trivia with gift certificates as a prize. My mother had wings, my father a ham pizza, and myself the white pizza. the white pizza was surprisingly good. I wasn't too sure how it would turn out, but it had a great flavor. I really liked the crust more than anything else. It had a nice sweetness to it. My mom said her wings were great and the ham on the ham pizza was in large chunks. The beer special was really good that night too with $6 pitchers of Yuengling, Miller Light, and Micheloeb Ultra. Not being from the east coast, I went with the Yuengling. The staff was all really nice, though I definitely felt bad that about the outfits they made the women wear. The owner needs to get into the right decade and realize they are not running a Hooters.

Sidelines is a great sports bar! I love their pizza, beer, and the staff is always awesome. We've been quite a few times to watch football and have had a great experience every time. Plus... any place I can always get a table, plus a pitcher of beer, wings, AND a pizza for $20?! What's NOT to love! This is definitely one of my favorite Mount Dora spots.

The food here is A-ok, acceptable mostly and meets expectations. I have seen some pathetic soggy onion rings come out though. Avoid the onion rings. Celery with the wings costs extra and you get about 3 small pieces. Avoid the costly celery. The worst thing is the highly underqualified service. Our waitress today asked which side we'd like along with our appetizer but then didn't know what the sides were. I'm pretty sure you don't get sides with appetizers but I guess you never know. It's hard to enjoy a dining experience when it's not clear that the server understood your order. I assume she was hired entirely for her looks, which in the long run may work out just fine for a sports bar.

Do not be fooled by its dated, hodge podge décor. Side Lines boasts super friendly service and an absolutely delicious fish fry. Perhaps this review would be more credible if I could speak to other dishes served here, but the catfish is so good that I can never bring myself to order anything else. They even have an all you can eat deal on Fridays ya'll! You get your choice of two sides from baked beans, coleslaw, fries etc.. Avoid the slaw unless you like it on the salty side. Judging from appearance, the rest of the food isn't so special, thus the 3 stars.

Decent food, but being served by a scowling waitress with the personality (and service) of a rock ruined the entire experience. I had the fish basket. Fish was good and moist (not too much flavor though), fries were hot and veggies were fresh. The waitress too, unfortunately, was fresh. She never asked if I needed a refill, never inquired if the food was good, and didn't thank me for stopping by and never wished me to come back after the check was paid. I gave two stars because the food was decent but the service was... Less than adequate. I would go back only if service improved.

In the past I have enjoyed eating at Sidelines. No longer a favorite, the menu has been downsized. The hamburgers are no longer hand formed fresh ground beef. The preformed patty I was served resulted in a dry burger The crowd hanging outside of the front door also detract from the perception of a family friendly restaurant Pluses great prices, ice cold drafts

We went in on Feb 21, 2015. First time in there in over a year. The menu seemed lacking from the last time. I had a burger and could tell it was no longer fresh. A frozen patty. A ho-hum flavor. My wife had a hot dog. That wasn't too bad. Waitress was okay. I like their wings. Very good. I'd like to go back to try their pizza sometime. But, I will wait for awhile.
